Shamrock Scramble Golf Tournament:Friday, March 11th, 2011, at the beautiful Silverhorn Golf Club of Texas. Tournament cost is $85.00 per player; including green fees, cart, food & libation. St. Patrick's Day Festival and River Parade : Saturday and Sunday, March 12th and 13th, noon - 6:00 pm. The festival is held at La Villita, beginning at noon both days, with Irish music and traditional dancing on the Arenson stage. Click here to see the complete schedule. At 3:00 pm, barges release 35 pounds of environmentally friendly green dye into the San Antonio River, temporarily re-naming the river "The River Shannon".

4th Annual Alamo Wreath Laying Ceremony: Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at noon in front of the Alamo Shrine.
